The Studio
Beyond Interaction Studio is my independent research practice studying conversational and embodied communication in human-technology interactions (AI, robots, spatial agents, conversational interfaces).
What we investigate:
How people interpret intelligent system intentions, coordinate through gesture and movement, and build trust via conversation patterns using conversation analysis, embodied video analysis, and design ethnography studies.
What we deliver:
Frameworks and design principles for intuitive, empathetic AI and robotics. Consulting and self-paced online courses in research design, interaction analysis, and human-centered technology design.
Interaction researcher
Bhavana Inaganti
I hold an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Nottingham, an MCA in Computer Science & Information Technology, and a BSc in Visual Communication with an International Graduate Diploma in Communication Design.
For six years, I served as Director of a small scale IoT startup, where I led interaction design strategy for smart product development and design. Now I run Beyond Interaction Studio as founder and researcher.
I notice patterns between intention and action, how people read emerging technologies beyond the digital screens through gesture, timing, and conversation rhythms. My work uncovers these subtle dynamics to create intuitive, ethical technology that honors human vulnerability and connection.
